This week the DC Council gave final approval on the DC budget for Fiscal Year 2023.

I wanted to share some of key highlights in next year’s budget so you have a sense of how they will impact our Ward 4 community and our city as a whole.

I will also be detailing the new ANC and SMD boundaries that the Council approved this week and what they mean for your hyperlocal representation.  

This budget is the collective work of not just me and my team — but also fellow Councilmembers, their staff, and members of the Executive. But more importantly, the most meaningful changes to the budget were driven by committed advocates, caring community leaders, dedicated ANC Commissioners, and engaged neighbors.
